My cousin Anna took me on a quick tour of the Sea to Sky hi way a couple days ago. It runs north-west of Vancouver, hugging the coast line. If you’re lucky enough to catch it on a clear day, as we were, you’re able to glimpse lofty mountain peaks on the north side of the wall and the glassy stillness of ocean water trapped in Lion’s Bay southward.
Anna was incredibly resourceful, pointing out every tiny point of interest, even calling out birds and plants by name. I never really grew up being close to my cousins, but it’s interesting how we’ve all developed similar interests and passions. Anna roams this paradise every weekend and I’m anxious to join her in the weeks to come.
